Carrot Cake
Went I to the shop
Hither, ‘twixt the chocolate and vanilla
Lay the cake of dreams
Alas, I’ve ne’er seen something so exquisite
Anon, Went I to the shop
And o’er there, was the carrot cake
Its creamy goodness, frosting white as snow,
Marry, ‘tis a sight to behold
From whence it came from I do not know
Thither, just before my eyes, the carrot cake is gone
Hie, I think, before one takes it away
I misgive If I should take it or not
I see as its taken hence
Fie! ‘Tis gone!
With great woe
Wherefore did it go
But mark my words- I will come back
To find a new scrumpdillyicious carrot cake
