Flurries
Flurries fall
And they swirl
They spin
And they twirl
They can come from above
Or from within
Flurries glide down from the sky
Softly and nicely
Creating a scene many love and enjoy
That leaves an impression on the mind
Or
flurries can explode in one’s heart
Surprisingly and prickly
Creating a feeling many associate with the sprouts of love
The flurries I feel don’t necessarily have those origins
As I tend to not understand the affection-flurries others feel
I do understand my flurries
Special and kind
I think flurries are beautiful
White stars that fall and fill the dark sky
When I see that beauty, my eyes see them
And my heart feels them
